Equipment suppliers line up product launches at IOG SALTEX

The dozens of new products being launched at this year’s IOG SALTEX open space management show (4-6th September, Windsor Racecourse) reinforce the event as the annual venue for the industry’s leading manufacturers and suppliers to showcase their latest developments.

For example, included in the Efco brand available from Emak will be the new 4 x 4 Tuareg all-terrain ride-on mower, while John Deere’s new 180C and 220C walk-behind mowers will be shown for the first time alongside the new 2653 utility mower and new heavy-duty ProGator 2030A utility vehicle.

New zero turn mowers from the Eagle and Osprey brands handled by J & P Contracts (Angus) will be on view – in addition to the just-announced MAS 05 GPS-controlled mower from McMurtry. Then there’s the new Hustler Yanmar diesel Z zero turn and Trimstar walk-behind mowers from Southern Machinery, plus the just-announced Pro-flex 120 Progressive mower from Trilo UK.

BMS, one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of turf care tools, will launch the H10 spreader and Etesia will show the new Attila AV98 ride-on brushcutter. GroundsCare will introduce from America Turf Teq power rakes and edgers, and Hydro Turf will announce Easy lawn hydroseeding machines.

Sherriff Amenity’s display will include new Trojan spreaders, while a new self-propelled turf cutter will be shown by Tracmaster. Also, Ultra Spreader International will show the new Ultra Pro60 dresser.

Being shown for the first time by Bobcat will be the T2250 compact telehandler, the 321/323 mini-excavator, an enhanced 2200D utility vehicle and the new S100 skid-steer. Ausa will show its new diesel option for the Task M50D multi-service vehicle, while Kubota will show the new B30 Series utility vehicle and Mega will have an all-new MultiTruck utility vehicle on view.

Meanwhile, FGM Claymore will be showcasing its new Adly range of ATVs and Quadzilla will highlight the 07 version of its 300e 4×4.

New on the tractor front from Aebi will be the Terratrac TT220 and TT240 multi-purpose models (alongside a new Combicut implement carrier); Landini will showcase new sub-compact tractors and McCormick will launch the CT compact range. Massey Ferguson will show a model from its new MF3600 mid-range of tractors, and TYM International will display its new T653.

Briggs & Stratton will preview its latest 5.5-9 HP Vanguard single-cylinder engines; Takeuchi will show a new lightweight compact track loader; and Wiedenmann UK will show its new heather care system.

There’s also new in-line marking technology from Bowcom and the 2007 version of the laser-guided beamrider from Fleet (Line Markers) – plus Shurflo will announce new line marking pumps. Arbor Eaters will show the new Timber Queen saw mill; and Midland Power Machinery Distributors will showcase its new 9-ton electric log splitter.

Hako will launch a mid-range ride-on sweeper, and new Billy Goat vacuum sweepers will be on the Pinnacle Power Equipment stand. Swan Plant will show the new Turfmech pedestrian debris collector; The Power Brush Co’s display will include the new Power Brush Pro sweeper; and new from Turfmech Machinery will be the SQRL pedestrian debris collector and Kroc ride-on collector.

In addition, a myriad of new products applicable to all grounds care and open space professions are also being announced by a host of other exhibitors at IOG SALTEX, reinforcing the event’s reputation as Europe’s flagship show for the profession.
