Jacobsen, a Textron Inc company and manufacturer of high-quality turf maintenance equipment recognised its top-performing dealers and sales people during the Golf Industry Show in San Diego recently.
Among the Asia-Pacific distributors recognised for their dedication and exceptional contribution to the Jacobsen business was Power Turf New Zealand Ltd of Rangiora, near Christchurch. They were presented with the Service Dealer of the Year award, which recognises the APAC distributor whose commitment to after sales support reached the highest level according to Jacobsen’s dealer metrics analysis.
Commenting at the presentation of the award, Alan Prickett, managing director of Jacobsen Asia-Pacific said, “Under the leadership of new owner, John Woodham, Power Turf has done an outstanding job in their territory and deservedly won the award for exceptional service to customers through a combination of world-class field service from Service Manager Kevin Adams and his team, meticulously maintained record, registration of equipment and the timely submission of warranty claims ensuring that their customers were supported at all levels across their business. This dedication to the customer and their exceptional performance in the dedicated areas of spare parts and service, convinced the management team that they should deservedly be crowned Asia-Pacific Service Dealer of the Year.”
Also recognised was the Mikuni Shoko Company, a division of Mikuni Corporation, based in Saitama, Japan, who received the Asia-Pacific Distributor of the Year award.
Alan Prickett, Managing Director, Jacobsen Asia Pacific said in his citation, “Mikuni Shoko Company won this award as a result of their outstanding service to customers, right across their business. This dedication to the customer and their exceptional performance in going to market with a superior strategy enveloping sales, spare parts and service deservedly won them the Asia-Pacific Distributor of the Year accolade.”
Shriro Thailand were honoured with the Conquest Sales award and commenting on their performance throughout 2012 Alan Prickett added, “Shriro Thailand are a superb distributor for Jacobsen with hugely experienced and dedicated owners and staff, who have done an outstanding job in their territory, winning a high volume of business with a targeted and coherent business plan that has been successfully implemented. They have made a significant contribution to the growth of our market share in Thailand and thoroughly deserve this accolade.”
