Taghazout Bay, golf resort located on the magnificent North African Atlantic coastline is the jewel in the crown of the expanding Moroccan golf industry, and destined to become the premier golf resort in the region.

Sustainably planted with the salt tolerant turfgrass Paspalum vaginatum together with bentgrass putting greens, Taghazout Bay has been designed for all abilities to enjoy. Agronomy focus is on ensuring high plant density with smooth and true putting surfaces, whilst minimizing irrigation and fertilizer inputs.

ITC principal Jonathan Pendry states “Taghazout Bay is part of our expanding global portfolio of world class golf venues. Having consulted over a number of years in north and central Africa, clients SAPST have placed their trust in ITC to ensure world class surfaces that the location, design and investment demands”.

With a view of the ocean at every turn Taghazout Bay has been open to critical acclaim since October 2014, with the opening of the Hyatt golf hotel due in April.

SAPST director Laila Bensouda comments, “Taghazout Bay has appointed ITC in order to ensure full maturity for the golf course and a truly challenging golf experience for golfers for all skill levels. It is also a high priority to implement our sustainable development approach for the golf course”.
