The public relations and marketing activity which the EIGCA (European Institute of Golf Course Architects) has recently invested in has been shortlisted in three categories of the UK’s leading PR awards, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) annual PRide Awards.
The entries entitled: “Giving Golf Course Architects a Voice” emphasised the first stage of the strategy and work EIGCA’s PR Consultant, Lindsey Collumbell, has put in place to meet her brief of “turning EIGCA into a widely-recognised body for golf course design within the golfing community.”
The EIGCA has been recognised in the Arts, Culture and Sport and Not-for-Profit categories, and Lindsey used EIGCA as the case study which sees Lindsey also being shortlisted in the Outstanding Independent PR Practitioner category – which she has already won twice before.
“The CIPR PRide Awards recognise the outstanding work by PR practitioners across the UK. The stringent judging process involves a panel of industry experts and only a small number of entries have matched EIGCA in being shortlisted across multiple categories. The CIPR is my professional body and through its awards, promotes and recognises best practice. I am delighted and proud that the work I am doing for EIGCA and its members has been recognised in this light. Fingers crossed for a few trophies when the winners are announced on 25th November,” says Lindsey Collumbell.
Note: each category will have a Gold (overall) winner and a Silver (runner-up) with the remainder of the shortlist classed as Finalists.
