Dancin’ Dogg Golf appoints Mike Smith as European Business Manager

Dancin’ Dogg Golf – maker of the affordable, award-winning OptiShot Infrared Simulator, the ultimate in-home virtual golf system – announces that Mike Smith has been named European Business Manager.

A former journalist who entered the golf industry more than 25 years ago, Smith will drive OptiShot sales through his longstanding network of contacts in the United Kingdom,Ireland and continental Europe. He previously held senior roles for a wide range of high-profile brands, including Nike Golf, Cobra and Dunlop Slazenger Corp.

“As we continue our rapid and sustainable expansion beyond North America, it was essential to fill this key role with someone who’s respected in all sectors of the golf industry,” says Dancin’ Dogg CEO Brandon Theophilus. “Mike’s a true professional who will play a significant part in driving awareness, sell-in and sell-through of our unique in-home simulator solution.”

Smith’s diverse career in golf spans a breadth of disciplines, including sales, marketing, Tour promotion, brand management and product development.
