Leading golf club advisor Club Inc. has reached an agreement to team up with Foremost Golf. Under the terms of the agreement, Club Inc. will become partners of Foremost Golf and will recommend it as its exclusive club-buying group.

In addition, Club Inc. will help Foremost’s 1000-plus members by providing initiatives which generate revenue especially from outside events and corporate days. Club Inc. will also provide expert career coaching to both members of the Foremost group and their professional staff.

The decision to form a partnership follows a series of meetings during which the companies discussed Foremost Golf’s Club Buying Group and realized the new initiative perfectly complemented many of the services provided by Club Inc.

“We are delighted to team up with Foremost Golf and firmly believe the synergy between the two companies will be very beneficial to both,” said Niall Flanagan, Managing Director of Club Inc. and the former President and CEO at Loch Lomond Golf Club.

“Foremost’s new Golf Club Buying Group has been very well received by progressive golf clubs all over the country and its activities gel perfectly with many of the services we provide.”

“Niall Flanagan is an acknowledged expert in golf club management and will be a good ally for us as we continue to develop our golf club programme,” said Foremost Group Director, Andy Martin.

“We believe our relationship with Club Inc. will be very beneficial to Foremost members and in return we have no doubt we will help and support Club Inc by recommending their advisory services and their “Friends Programme” which provides individuals with networking and career opportunities in sport.”

Foremost introduced its Golf Club Buying Group in 2011 and to date has signed up 85 golf clubs as members.

The Group uses its extensive contacts to provide clubs with substantial savings when purchasing course machinery, course furniture, fuel, office supplies, food and beverage, financial services and other goods and services. In addition, the Group can provide member clubs with extensive support with their marketing, epos, sales, insurance and administration.

Foremost believes membership of its Golf Club Buying Group can help the average British Golf Club to reduce its costs by as much as 20%.

Club Inc. is the brainchild of Flanagan who has held senior management positions at a number of the most prestigious golf clubs around the world. It provides clubs with the tools to improve business performance and longevity through a large number of their industry contacts.

Club Inc’s group of expert advisors cover every essential requirement to run a successful business including board/committee workshops, revenue generation, marketing, strategic planning, legal, training, executive search, food and beverage, finance and agronomy. It has also designed a bespoke career coaching package for individuals working within golf clubs and the wider golf industry to help them plan, deliver and succeed at their chosen careers.
