Following the success of last year’s event Campey Turf Care Systems in conjunction with the PGA are once again holding a Pro-Greenkeeper Challenge at Hart Common Golf Club, Westhoughton, Bolton.

The date for your diary is Tuesday 21st April, 2015. It starts with an invigorating breakfast at 9.00am and a shotgun start at 10.00.

Peter Roberts owner of Hart Common is pleased to be providing the venue for the second year. “It’s an excellent way of combining support for the professionals and a getting together with fellow greenkeepers,” says Peter.

The day will follow a similar format to before with an 18 hole Pro-Am tournament, on course spot prizes, fabulous amateur prizes and a professional prize fund up to £3600 and a first prize of £1000 if a full field of 50 players is achieved.

Players and visitors will also get the opportunity to take a look at Campey’s range of turf care equipment with a series of demonstrations of the latest machinery and techniques for total golf and sports turf maintenance. This will include the renowned Imants Shockwave, the new amazing Air2G2, the Vredo overseeder and Dakota Turf Tender.
