The announcement solidifies the position of as the UK’s largest tee-time booking service, with clubs enjoying the reassurance of retaining full control over the pricing and availability of tee-times, as well as the knowledge that payment is made in full at the time of booking, meaning no loss on cancellations or no-shows.

And with a promotional reach of more than a million UK golfers through a variety of marketing and distribution channels, gives clubs exposure at both a local and national level to the entire golfing market.

In addition to the online platform, clubs are benefitting from the upsurge in mobile bookings, with around 33% of rounds now being booked with via a mobile device. The existing website has now been redesigned and optimized to enable much easier mobile browsing, while earlier this year, an updated App for iPhone and iPad was released to afford golfers the convenience of booking and paying for tee-times on the move.

2012 was another excellent year for with more than 225,000 rounds booked – the majority (57%) for play within 24 hours – confirming the scale of the last-minute booking market.
