Two of our stories this week celebrate significant milestones in ‘Grow the Game’ initiatives: The Golf Foundation held its 25th Annual Pro-Am and East Herts Golf Club became the 500th member of the GolfMark scheme, launched in 2006 to identify and recognise junior and beginner friendly golf facilities.
With the support of an influential team, including The European Tour, FEGGA, PGA’s of Europe, CMAE, EGCOA, GEO, GCIA and EIGCA, help and advice on how to attract and keep more players in golf is never more than a mouse ‘click’ away and accessible from every country in the world.
The excellent ‘Grow the Game of Golf Website’ provides golf course owners and operators with ideas and information to assist them in their own efforts and the use of ‘social media’ means that this invaluable resource can be constantly updated with a stream of new ideas.
