Develop and grow the Nike Golf Brand in EMEA, by developing and executing strategies across the marketing mix (advertising, media, digital, mobile, PR, events, sports marketing, retail, demo). Lead and develop the team in accomplishing these goals.
Manage team and sets team and individual goals that align with department and function goals. Coach staff, create opportunities for staff development, make hiring decisions, drive performance management, recognition and rewards. Develop team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance. Team includes EMEA Golf Sports Marketing and EMEA Retail.
Drive Go To Market execution across categories in the whole of EMEA, by means of developing and executing integrated product marketing plans across all marketing mix elements (a/o Advertising, media, digital, social media, PR, retail, shop in shops, events, demo days, sports marketing, sales promotions). Roll this out towards all countries, distributors and key accounts across the region.
Develop and launch brand building initiatives that enrich the consumer brand experience. Examples are Swoosh Staff, NextUp, 360 Training + Fitting, Protégé plans, Nike Swing Zone, Demo days, Athlete events.
Develop and deliver the EMEA Marketing Plans (1-year and 3-year); Connect the work of the EMEA team into a cohesive picture that aligns the marketing work with the overall marketing strategy and plans for the globe, working closely with the Global Marketing Team. Contribute to the development of the 1-year and 3-year strategic business plans. Play a key role in the EMEA management team.
Brand stewardship – ensure that Nike Golf shows up as one brand in the marketplace, by delivering relevant content, installing new processes and procedures and deliver the optimal brand presentation, including brand presentations at sales meetings, brand imagery management, trade shows, consumer events. Leverage global assets where possible; originate local creative where needed. Adopt and enrich global marketing plans through consumer insights.
Manages the marketing and sports marketing budgets: demand creation, T&E, Other SG&A, resources. Provide updates, reviews, cuts, process improvements.
Track and evaluate marketing impact in territory and across portfolio in EMEA, by means of executing research and tracking studies.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- 10+ years of Marketing experience
- Technical skills: Basic Computer Software
- Communication/Language: Fluent in English; preferably 1 other European language
- Management/Leadership: Has management multi-disciplinary teams
- Office based
- Requires computer skills
- Include significant travel across the region and with global team, up to 40% at times, with average 20%.
- Irregular working hours at time, eg during sales meetings
Interest in golf is a must.
