Scandinavia’s and Denmark’s first golf club has appointed Tuula Undall as its new Director. Since the mid-1990s, she has played a significant role in the sport she loves and will assume her position on January 1, 2025, in her home club
“We are proud to have attracted such an experienced and reliable leader with many years of top-level insight into the golf world,” says Birgitte Henrichsen, Chairwoman of the Board of Royal Copenhagen Golf Club.
Royal Copenhagen Golf Club is located in the heart of the UNESCO-protected Dyrehaven, 15 minutes north of Copenhagen Downtown, and a unique natural area home to 2,200 free-roaming deer. With 1,200 active members, over 10% of whom are juniors, and a strong community of volunteers, the club provides optimal conditions for both athletic and social development.
Tuula Undall brings nearly three decades of experience in the golf world. Most recently, she served as Club Manager at Smørum Golf Club, where she was part of the leadership team responsible for driving membership growth, achieving financial stability, and elevating the club’s profile by hosting international tournaments. She also spent seven years as Golf Manager at The Scandinavian Golf Club.
Extensive Experience and Focus on the Future
Tuula Undall has a long history of involvement in talent development and volunteer work. She has served as a board member of the Danish Golf Union, a member of the Danish Golf Foundation, Vice-Chairwoman of Royal Copenhagen Golf Club’s board, and Chairwoman of its Junior Committee. Today she is also a member of the board of GAF Denmark – The Golf Administrative Association.
With Tuula Undall at the helm, Royal Copenhagen Golf Club is well-positioned to maintain its status as a flagship for talent development. Her leadership will focus on strengthening administration, enhancing the member and guest experience, and further developing the club’s shop and restaurant. All efforts will respect the club’s unique combination of nature, culture, and sport.
“It is an honour to return as Director to Royal Copenhagen Golf Club, which has been my home club since 1995. I look forward to continuing the club’s strong traditions and creating new opportunities for growth and development to benefit the staff, members, and guests,” says Tuula Undall.
Birgitte Henrichsen adds: “Tuula is not only highly professional but also known for her infectious energy, integrity, and positive attitude, which foster a supportive and trustworthy work environment. We are excited to welcome her as a strong leader who will further strengthen and develop Royal Copenhagen Golf Club.”
