Yorkshire-based leisure IT specialists Baron LRMS (Leisure Relationship Management Solutions) have signed a unique distribution agreement with Spanish firm Blue Nine S.L to promote their product range right across the European mainland as well as announcing reseller partnerships in North America. Already established in many of the world’s most exclusive leisure resorts, the agreement will effectively mean that Baron’s technological leisure solutions will be translated into all the major European languages and distributed through the existing Blue Nine S.L network.
Michael Barrett, managing director of Baron LRMS, explained, “This represents a significant step forward for Baron LRMS and we are the first UK firm in our sector to agree to such an arrangement. All of our booking and resort manager tools will now be available and distributed in a wide variety of languages.
“The potential for business growth through continental resorts presents a very exciting future for the company,” added Michael.
A spokesman for Blue Nine S.L commented: “We have selected Baron LRMS because of their reputation within the industry and the flexibility and reliability offered by their product base. Their technology has already proven itself in the best known venues and is capable of being replicated across European borders.”
In addition to their European expansion, Baron LRMS has also recently signed a partnership with LeisureTek Solutions Inc. who will work as distributors and resellers promoting the Baron IT systems throughout the US.
A third agreement has been signed with Canadian partners Link Golf & Leisure Solutions (Link GLS), who have recently signed up Canada’s largest golfing group Kaneff. As the exclusive supplier in Canada for Baron and leader in providing enterprise application to golf, resort and leisure facilities, this new partnership will result in over 400 clients worldwide for Link GLS.
Kaneff Golf is the largest group of privately owned golf courses in Canada. The Baron system has now been installed at all Kaneff golf locations, totalling eight courses.
