Hospitality packages are selling out fast for The European Tour’s flagship event, the BMW PGA Championship, which returns to Wentworth Club from 21-24 May.

With World Number One Rory McIlroy set to defend the title he won in such memorable fashion last year, there has never been a better opportunity to enjoy the action in style through one of the numerous official hospitality programmes available.

Whether entertaining clients, colleagues, or friends and family, the Clubhouse, Championship and Player packages can cater for your every need.

The Clubhouse Package, which is now only available for the third and fourth rounds only and is priced at £360 (plus VAT) per person, offers up to 12 guests access to a private table located in the Wentworth Clubhouse Ballroom.

The package includes: reserved VIP parking; dedicated hospitality staff; breakfast upon arrival; a pre-lunch champagne reception; a three-course lunch served with fine wines; a complimentary bar serving unlimited beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks; and afternoon tea.

For customers looking to get even closer to the action and enjoy corporate hospitality in a more relaxed environment, the Championship and Player Packages are situated in the heart of the Championship Village.

The Championship Package, which is available for the first and second rounds and is priced at £295 (plus VAT) per person, offers up to 12 guests a private table for the day, starting with hot breakfast rolls, a complimentary bar, champagne reception, and a three-course informal lunch with matched wines, followed by afternoon tea.

Meanwhile, the Player Package is available for those looking to take advantage of informal hospitality at a rate of £185 (plus VAT) per person, per day for the weekend.

For a truly unforgettable experience, the Ryder Cup Room Package – for up to 40 guests – can be tailored to your specific requirements. Guests will be hosted by a golfing legend in Wentworth Clubhouse’s Ryder Cup Room, which features authentic team memorabilia on the walls and a private terrace.

This elite package, which amongst other things offers reserved seating in the 18th green grandstand, passes to the terrace bar in the Championship Pavilion, a luxury corporate gift, (limited) courtesy car transfers to and from the course and a complimentary cocktail bar, can be booked for between one and four days.

Jamie Birkmyre, Director of Championship Management for the BMW PGA Championship, said: “We have already sold out Clubhouse Packages for the first two rounds and are close to selling out other packages, so we would urge people to move quickly if they wish to take advantage of the superb hospitality options we are able to offer.

“The BMW PGA Championship is one of the highlights of the UK’s sporting calendar, and the chance to catch the action in style is too good an opportunity to miss. No matter how big or small your budget, we have packages to cater for your needs.”
